How we write these
We pick memes that people are searching for and remaking right now, checked on Google Trends and on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Every fact on a page comes from a source we link at the bottom, with its date; when we can't confirm something, we leave it out.
Each page says when it was last updated and lists what changed. The stage label (rising, peak, past peak, faded) is our read of search interest on the date shown, not a live number.
